Sausage update – 2nd of May 2012

I’m heading back to the UK this weekend (taking advantage of the long weekend which sees the Olonzac market cancelled).

I will be back in action on the 12th of May onwards. Specials that week will be:
Chilli & Coriander
Pork, Apple & Cider
Caramelised Red Onion

I will also be doing a deliver round if you would like me to drop the bangers off for you!

Next delivery to the Pyrenees Orientales is scheduled for the 24th of May.

Update 20 April 2012

After the weather last week which saw me miss both Quillan and Mirepoix markets….

I will be at Quillan, Mirepoix and Olonzac markets this week with a selection of sausages including two specials. London (sea salt, cracked black pepper, sage and a pinch of nutmeg), and Pork & Asparagus.

On the 26th April I will be doing my delivery round in the Pyrenees Orientales – please drop me a line for details!

Update 12 April 2012

I will be back on the markets at Mirepoix and Olonzac this week.

Special for the week is Jack’s Old English. I also have some bacon available.

On the 26th April I will be back in the Pyrenees Orientales doing a delivery service – the specials will be London and Pork & Asparagus.

Update, 20 February 2012

I will only be at one market next week, Quillan on Saturday 25 February, and will then be away for ten days.

Back on the markets from 3rd of March.

Still missing from markets, 8 February

Very sorry but I’m still stuck on my mountain! The markets were all cancelled last week anyway.

As it stands I won’t be back on the markets until the 18th of February unless there is a quick thaw and rising of temperatures.

Update 1 February 2012

Given the current weather I am unable to get down to the markets with any certainty and have decided to take the week off work.

Many apologies for any inconvenience caused, but this last week I have had to throw away a good deal of stock because of the weather conditions.

This week’s update – 18 January 2012

This week’s specials will be:

As part of the regional tour of England….

….. Yorkshire. This is simply one of the finest county seasonings, it has all the ingredients of the traditional sausage, including white pepper, nutmeg, mace with the gentle warmth of ginger. A true regional delight, especially good in Yorkshire puddings with gravy.

I will also be making a small quantity of sun dried tomato bangers by special request.

Unfortunately I won’t be at Mirepoix market on Monday as I have to take my wife back to Carcassonne airport.

Next Thursday, 26th January I will be doing my tour of the Pyrenees Orientales so please drop me a line if you wish to place an order.

Update on deliveries / recipes / Olonzac market

Happy New Year to all my customers. I hope that 2012 brings all that you wish for.

I will be doing a delivery to the PO on the 26th January. Please give me a call or send an email for further details.

Olonzac market is currently being renovated and I, along with all of my other food chums, have been shifted. For the next few months we are next to the Salle Polyvalente.

For winter and spring specials I am taking you on a sausage tour of England…..

Each week you can sample a different flavour from one of England’s many sausage regional specialities. You get Cumberland every week of course but starting this week you will get Lincolnshire, followed by Yorkshire, London, Oxford, Somerset, and the New Forest.
